Terms & Conditions

Last updated 2 August 2026

These terms are a contract between you and MakerCache ("we", "us"), who operates the MakerCache app and website. By creating an account or continuing to use MakerCache, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the app.

Who can use MakerCache

You must be of legal age in your country to enter a contract, and if you use MakerCache on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account, and for keeping your account details accurate.

What MakerCache is

MakerCache is a workshop inventory companion: you record supplies, storage locations, projects and shopping lists. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app within the cache capacity you hold. You keep ownership of the content you store; you grant us only the limited licence needed to host and process it so we can provide the service.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, fraud or spam.
  • No infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
  • No interfering with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping or circumventing technical limits such as cache capacity.
  • No reverse engineering, resale or redistribution of the app.

Our intellectual property

We retain all rights in MakerCache itself — the software, design, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.

Purchases and payment

MakerCache has no subscriptions. Cache Expansions are one-time purchases that permanently raise the number of items your account can hold. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the capacity it granted is removed from your account; your stored items are never deleted as a result, but you may not be able to add new ones until you are within your remaining capacity.

Service level

We work hard to keep MakerCache available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. MakerCache is not a substitute for your own backups — you can export your data at any time from My Workshop.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can delete your account at any time from My Workshop, which permanently removes your workshop data and profile. Export anything you want to keep first.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated version. Refunds within 30 days are covered by our Refund Policy. Questions? Email hello@makercache.app.
